In practice

What Can You Do With Your Playlist CSV?

Once the playlist is in a spreadsheet, these are the fields to export for a few common tasks.

Sort a playlist by upload date

Export the Publish Date column and sort the sheet oldest to newest, or newest to oldest.

Find the longest videos

Include Duration and sort the spreadsheet to surface the longest — or shortest — videos in the playlist.

Filter videos from a specific channel

Useful for mixed-channel playlists — filter by the Channel Name column to isolate videos from one creator.

Create a searchable playlist inventory

Search across hundreds of titles and URLs from a single spreadsheet instead of scrolling through YouTube.

Compare video metrics

Export View Count, Like Count, and Comment Count together to compare engagement across the playlist.
