Understand the data
The creation date is just the starting point. Every field this tool returns tells you something about a channel — here’s what each one actually indicates, and where it can mislead you if read on its own.
Subscribers
Shows: A general sense of audience size and long-term reach.
Doesn’t show: It doesn't guarantee active engagement — compare it against upload frequency and average views per video to see if that audience is actually watching.
Total Views
Shows: Cumulative reach across every video ever published.
Doesn’t show: A high total can simply mean a channel has posted for a long time. Consider it alongside video count — views per video is a better signal of per-upload performance.
Videos
Shows: Publishing volume and, indirectly, consistency over the channel's lifetime.
Doesn’t show: High output doesn't always mean high impact. A channel with fewer, higher-performing uploads can outperform one that posts constantly.
Channel Age
Shows: How long the channel has existed and had the opportunity to build an audience.
Doesn’t show: Age alone doesn't determine success. Many channels sit dormant for years; others grow fast within months. Treat it as context, not a verdict.
Country
This is the country the channel owner set in their YouTube settings. It’s a useful signal for a creator’s primary language and target audience, though it doesn’t always match where they physically live.
Channel ID

What can you learn from a channel’s age?
Rather than a number to note and move on from, think of the age as a lens. Combined with the stats above, it helps answer:
Is this creator experienced or relatively new?
How quickly has the channel grown relative to its age?
Has it uploaded consistently over time, or in bursts?
Is it an established brand or an emerging creator?
How does it compare with competitors in the same niche?
